Supporting Stray Dogs with Purpose:
DORCO ESG Volunteer Program in Action
- A Day of Care. A Step Towards Change.
On July 4th, DORCO employees participated in a volunteer activity at Banryeomaru Yeoju, a shelter for stray dogs, as part of the company’s ESG initiative. A total of 19 employees took part, working in four teams to support the shelter’s operations for approximately two hours.
Before starting the activity, the employees received training on the importance of animal protection and care methods. They contributed by cleaning the dog kennels, washing dishes, and tidying up the shelter environment. Additionally, they spent time interacting with the stray dogs and took walks around the shelter. During this brief time, they shared moments of comfort and connection between the puppies and employees.

Jieun Lee, Manager of the Sales Strategy team, shared her thoughts:
“I am thankful to DORCO for giving me the opportunity to participate in this volunteer work, something that would be difficult to do alone. It was a meaningful experience to be able to help the stray dogs in need."

In addition to on-site care, employees supported the shelter’s long-term goals by taking photos of the animals and writing introduction texts to assist with future adoptions. The team also participated in various tasks to support the shelter’s day-to-day operations.

Through this volunteer activity, DORCO aims to go beyond this one-time event and will continue to support sustainable ESG practices in the future. Moving forward, the company plans to faithfully fulfill its role as a responsible corporate through various social contribution activities.
